John 17 | The High Priestly Prayer, That They May Be One

In John 17 Jesus lifts His eyes to heaven and prays the great High Priestly Prayer — for Himself, for His disciples, and for all who will believe through their word. In this study we walk through: • “Father, the hour has come. Glorify Your Son” (John 17:1–5) • Eternal life is knowing the Father and the Son • Prayer for the disciples: keep them, sanctify them in the truth (John 17:6–19) • “I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me” (John 17:20–26) • That they may be one, as the Father and Son are one • Unity as a witness so the world may believe This is the prayer of the Son for His people before the cross.
