Before the First Thorn Grew

Before the first thorn ever grew, God had already planned the redemption of His people through Jesus Christ. The thorns that came with the curse of sin would one day be woven into a crown and placed upon the brow of our Savior. And the hands that formed the earth and sea would be nailed to a cross. “Before the First Thorn Grew” is a song of wonder and gratitude for God's eternal plan of salvation and the immeasurable love that led Christ to Calvary. Inspired by Genesis 3, Ephesians 1:4, and 1 Peter 1:19–20. Original lyrics, with AI-assisted music and vocals.
