We honestly didn't expect this day in Norway to become quite so emotional… 🌈 Our journey takes us to Namsos, the home of Trønderrock, where our first impression wasn't exactly glowing! 😬 I admit that the town looked a little underwhelming to us at first — but after scratching beneath the surface, we discovered a fascinating piece of Norwegian music history. We visit Rock City Namsos, see the original Prudence tour bus, learn about legendary Norwegian musician Åge Aleksandersen and discover the monuments celebrating the Trønderrock movement. And then we head into the Norwegian wilderness to find the magnificent Formofoss waterfall. Completely alone, surrounded by forest, rushing water and mist, something incredibly special happened… a rainbow appeared over the waterfall. 🌈 Since losing our beloved Sid and Ivy, we often say they are together at Rainbow Bridge. Standing there in that moment, behind the camera, I couldn't help but wonder whether this beautiful rainbow was their way of letting us know they're still with us. ❤️ We also visit the spectacular Laksforsen waterfall, although you'll soon discover why the commercialisation of this famous Norwegian waterfall wasn't quite our cup of tea! From Trønderrock and Norwegian music history to incredible waterfalls, unexpected emotions and a rainbow that stopped us in our tracks — this was another unforgettable day exploring Norway in our campervan.
