Meet Operative Howler! He is the latest member of the Desdemona! He is a Ranger, and as a Ranger, his job is to maintain the balance between humanity and the life that dwells within the forest. As a Ranger, he is a powerful individual because he is capable of using both magic and technology from the Old World. His primary job is to hunt down those who would cause an imbalance within the forest and to fight off wildlife that threatens humanity, as well as the occasional robots that once caused the Great Calamity on his homeworld. Howler is, for the most part, a survivalist and a fighter.
