Emerging farmers lead the way for climate resilience: 2025 Minnesota farmer survey results

In 2025 the Institute for Agriculture and Trade Policy and the University of Minnesota conducted a statewide farmer survey, supported by the Agroecology Fund, where we heard from 462 Minnesota farmers who shared their experiences with climate resilient farming practices and accessing support for agroecology. In this recorded webinar from September 30, 2026 hear from the report authors, who give a look into the project and what they heard from farmers. They are also by farmer and community advocate Moses Momanyi, who shared insight into policy obstacles faced by emerging farmers in Minnesota.
