Nepal Floods नेपाल में इस सैलाब की चपेट में आने से अब तक 163 लोगों की मौत हो चुकी है... जबकि 750 लोग अब भी लापता हैं... लापता लोगों में भारत के भी 133 लोग शामिल हैं...इनमें से ज्यादातर वो श्रद्धालु हैं...जो कैलाश मानसरोवर की यात्रा पर गए थे... मृतकों में सबसे ज्यादा 64 शव नेपाल के चितवन से मिले हैं...जबकि 27 शव धादिंग से मिले हैं... इनके अलावा रेस्क्यू एजेंसियों को नवलपरासी पूर्व से 26 शव...गोरखा जिले से 20 शव और नुवाकोट जिले से 12 शव मिले हैं... इस विनाशकारी सैलाब में 19 पुल, करीब 40 किलोमीटर का हाईवे और 9 हाइड्रोपावर प्रोजेक्ट तबाह हो गए हैं...फ्लैश फ्लड का पानी करीब 30 फीट तक ऊपर आ गया था...तेज बहाव में घर, गाड़ियां सब बह गए...बताया जा रहा है कि तिब्बत में ग्लेसियर फटने से पानी और मलबे का सैलाब नेपाल के भोटेकोशी और त्रिशूली नदियों में पहुंचा...जिससे ये विनाशकारी बाढ़ आई...पानी और मलबे का बहाव इतना तेज था कि इसकी चपेट में आए रसुवा के लोगों के शव 150 किलोमीटर दूर चितवन में बरामद हो रहे हैं...खराब मौसम और टूटे रास्तों के बीच राहतकर्मी मलबे में दबे लोगों की तलाश में जुटे हैं...नेपाल में लापता लोगों में सैकड़ों विदेश नागरिक भी हैं.. So far, 163 people have died in Nepal due to this flood, while 750 are still missing. Among the missing are 133 Indians. Most of them are pilgrims on the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra. The highest number of dead bodies, 64, were recovered from Chitwan, Nepal, while 27 were found in Dhading. Rescue agencies also recovered 26 bodies from Nawalparasi East, 20 from Gorkha district, and 12 from Nuwakot district. This devastating flood destroyed 19 bridges, approximately 40 kilometers of highway, and nine hydropower projects. Flash flood waters rose as high as 30 feet. The strong current swept away homes and vehicles. It is reported that a glacier burst in Tibet sent a flood of water and debris into Nepal's Bhotekoshi and Trishuli rivers, causing this devastating flood. The flow of water and debris was so strong. That the bodies of the people of Rasuwa who were affected by it are being recovered in Chitwan, 150 km away... Amidst bad weather and broken roads, relief workers are busy searching for people buried under the debris...
