The legend says the magician was then crushed by a rolling boulder, but before he died, he cursed Bhangarh and declared that the city would soon be destroyed and no one would be able to live within its walls. Today, Bhangarh remains a vast complex of ruined temples, havelis, marketplaces and palace remains. Rajasthan Tourism also states that visitors are not permitted inside before sunrise or after sunset.
