Dover/Reading Hydraulic Scenic elevators @ Reading, PA

Installed in 1978, modernized in circa 1998 and 2023. These things surely needed the modernization by Reading; they were on their last legs. I previously rode these things in 2019 and 2020 and they were critically low on oil, therefore I elected not to record them then due to their condition. I was also made aware that these were suffering from chronic oil leaks that were repaired by ThyssenKrupp again and again. But alas, they kept happening. Fast forward to 2023 and these received a comprehensive "refresh" by Reading Elevator Services and are running MUCH better now. Berks County and Reading Elevator Services did a great job here! This used to have Dover's Vandal-Resistant fixtures.
