This card is of high utility, giving efficient tempo with Tuirseach Skirmishers, or more consistency and graveyard setup, especially in Round 1. Moreover, Skald is a possible Freya's Blessing target; if we don't find Discard targets immediately, we can have another chance later! Alchemy loves Discard. Not only the discard package can be Round 1 source of points, but also Freya's Blessings and Freya targets can be moved to graveyard, a target for Crow Clan Druid can be set up and so on...
