Harvesting Sweet Potatoes: I Found Something Unexpected!

Harvesting sweet potatoes led to a strange surprise in the dirt today. I found a hole that really shouldn't be there. While I was out harvesting my sweet potatoes, I stumbled upon a mysterious opening in the soil. It is a very real hole, and it seems like something is preparing to return or re-emerge in that spot. And, it was more than one hole that I found! This was just a typical day of backyard gardening until I noticed the ground shifting. It is a reminder that you never quite know what you will find when you are in the middle of a sweet potato harvest.
