🐉 SATURDAY RETRO SHOW EP. 6 - The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning (PS2) | The Dark Reboot Era! 🔥

Welcome back to the Saturday Retro Show! 🎮✨ We're going back to 2006 for Episode 6 with The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning on the PlayStation 2! This was the start of a full reboot for Spyro — darker, more combat-focused, and stacked with a surprisingly Hollywood voice cast. Does it hold up as a nostalgic gem, or is it a case of "what were they thinking"? Let's find out! 🐉 This game threw out the collect-a-thon platforming of the original trilogy and went full action-brawler. We're talking elemental breaths, God of War-style upgrades, and a story that actually tried to take Spyro seriously. Plus, the voice cast is wild — Elijah Wood as Spyro, David Spade as Sparx, and Gary Oldman as Ignitus . No co-op this week, but I'm bringing the energy (and probably getting stuck on the flying sections)! 💨 Tonight's agenda: 🐉 The controversial Spyro reboot — love it or hate it? 🔥 Elemental combat: Fire, Ice, Electricity, and Earth 🎮 PS2 era action-platformer vibes 💥 Live reactions and chat interaction Were you a fan of the Legend of Spyro trilogy, or did you stick with the classics?
