She is equipped to operate outside the law, ensuring the smooth functioning of both Piltover and the underworld of Zaun. Camille was born into a wealthy family in Piltover, whose fortune largely came from excavating rare hextech crystals. The Ferros family motto, "For the family, I sacrifice," reflects the sacrifice made by Camille's great-grandmother during the initial discovery of these crystals. From a young age, Camille received a thorough education and was instilled with a strong sense of responsibility to her family. She studied various languages, music, and assisted her father in excavations. Initially, her younger brother, Stevan, was designated as the family's "Head of Intelligence," but due to his frail health, Camille took his place. She underwent intensive training in combat, reconnaissance, and interrogation. When Camille was 25, she and her father were attacked by augmented Zaunite thugs attempting to steal trade secrets. Her father died from his wounds, and her mother passed away shortly after from grief. Stevan became the clan head and pushed for research into hextech human augmentation. Camille requested Hakim, a young crystal surgeon, to perform a hextech augmentation on her body to transcend human limitations. Hakim loved her, and they had a relationship. However, before the surgery, Hakim proposed and pleaded with Camille to run away with him. Camille struggled but ultimately decided to proceed with the surgery for her family. After the surgery was complete and her heart was replaced with hextech, Hakim left. Upon waking, Camille found the lab empty, but she focused on her work. She continued to augment her body with other hextech parts, including bladed legs and hip-mounted grappling hooks, leaving many to wonder how much of her remained human. With her sharp intellect and unwavering dedication to her duties, Camille is a cold, persistent, and terrifyingly precise assassin. Despite her age, thanks to her hextech heart, she does not age. However, time was not kind to her brother, Stevan. As Stevan grew old and Camille's missions became darker, she realized Stevan's deceit and his selfish actions. Ultimately, she stripped Stevan of his control and took charge of both the family's public affairs and its clandestine operations. Camille is a strong fighter/assassin with good dueling capabilities and the ability to generate shields that adapt to her opponent's damage.
