【TANIHATA】Company introduction

Kumiko is a Japanese woodwork technique that goes back to the Asuka Era (8th century). It involves a number of detailed processes, including selection of the wood and slitting it into small thin pieces, then assembling the pieces to an accuracy of 0.1mm, to form the design. This work is undertaken by highly skelled craftsmen whose passion for kumiko, and knouwledge of the traditional technique, has been passed down through generations. ■Kumiko Woodworking Technic    • Kumiko Woodworking Technic   ■Web TANIHATA EN https://kumikowoodworking.com/ TANIHATA JP https://www.tanihata.co.jp/ ■Instagram instagram.com/tanihata_official ■Photo Gallery https://www.tanihata.co.jp/contents/g... ■Showroom(Tokyo&Osaka) https://www.tanihata.co.jp/showroom/ Tanihata Co., Ltd.
