the thing is. It's easier to present as something you were given at birth cause if you do as little as cutting your hair short, you will non stop have to keep explaining to everyone why you did that and it gets tiring. once i was even called BRAVE for cutting my hair by another young female because supposedly i was doing something against the norms of gender (i guess it was true) since only older females cut their hair this short over here. anyway, i cut my hair cause it's just plain ahh annoying. Like, it's hot during summer, it takes longer to wash and so on. It's more convenient for it to be short
