The Story and the Promise | HCCCPI

Welcome to the Harvest Church Sunday Service for March 8, 2026, featuring an inspiring and eye-opening message delivered by Ian Manliguez. Titled "The Story and the Promise," this sermon takes believers on a holistic journey through the scriptures—from the very beginning in Genesis all the way to the eternal restoration in Revelation—revealing how every historical event, prophecy, and world affair ultimately points to Jesus Christ. In a world filled with global uncertainties, economic shifts, and conflicts, this message reminds believers that our faith is not built on blind hope or relative truths, but on the absolute, unchanging truth of God. Pastor Ian explores the grand narrative of Scripture through six major stages: Creation: God’s perfect design of the heavens, the earth, and a home of abundance and harmony for humanity [20:10]. The Fall: How human disobedience and sin infected the entire creation, resulting in the trials, brokenness, and chaos we witness in the world today [23:27]. The Promise: God’s enduring covenant starting with Abraham and the ultimate promise of redemption found in Genesis 3:15, where the offspring of the woman crushes the head of the enemy [29:43]. The Gospel: The profound good news that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us, exchanging His absolute perfection for our sins [37:49]. The Mission: The call for every believer to receive the power of the Holy Spirit and act as witnesses of the Good News to the ends of the earth [31:13]. The New Creation: The glorious promise of Revelation 21, where God will wipe away every tear, and death, sorrow, and pain will pass away forever [55:47].
