Amateur radio portable debut take two at dunstable downs

Sometimes, radio operations don’t go exactly to plan—and this time, the mistake happened behind the camera, not behind the radio! I headed out to the beautiful Dunstable Downs for a day of portable operating. I had a great time working the bands, but when I got home to start editing, I realized a rookie mistake: I’d filmed the entire thing in portrait mode! 📱❌ I knew I couldn't let a great day of radio go to waste, so I headed back for a second day of activations to get it right in glorious landscape.
