Digital watercolour - but with real textures!

This video takes you through adding real watercolour textures into a Procreate painting. I've been a watercolour artist for almost thirty years, and after my eyesight became so bad I couldn't do my beloved teeny-tiny detail work anymore, I've been searching for ways to do watercolours on the iPad that look like the real thing, AND preserve the joy of the process! This approach relies on hand-painted, scanned textures added into Procreate by way of clipping masks. These do most of the heavy lifting, and need just a bit of detailing afterwards.
