GHSA 5A Final: Grayson vs. Walton - Dec. 10, 2011

In a battle of unbeatens, Grayson dominated the first half to win the 5A State Championship 24-0. Nations top recruit Robert Nkemdiche’s early TD run gave the Rams a 7-0 lead. QB Nich Schuessler threw 45 and 10-yard TD passes to Callen Hightower and the Grayson defense held Walton’s Tyren Jones to a season low 76 yards rushing. It was the 100th win for Grayson coach Mickey Conn.
