A Hello Kitty Island?? Yes, PLEASE! 🎀

Spending an entire day surrounded by Hello Kitty in a rural part of Japan honestly feels like a dream come true for me. From exploring a themed, interactive museum to actually stepping inside Hello Kitty’s apple-shaped house, this is the kind of experience every Sanrio fan should have on their bucket list. And it gets even better because all of these themed attractions are located on Awaji Island, which is hands down one of my favorite places in Japan. You get beautiful countryside scenery, amazing food, the ocean right there beside you, and this peaceful atmosphere that makes the whole island feel extra special. It’s such a beautiful place, and one I genuinely wish more people would add to their Japan itineraries.
