Starting on Rua 25 de Dezembro, we take a left onto Rua Santarém until we reach the unfinished portal of the new Avenida Parque. The contrast is immediate as we enter this scenic avenue running right behind the city's Touristic Complex. We drive along the cobblestones, passing a dedicated bike lane and lush greenery on one side, with the complex on the other. Our route finally concludes as we merge onto Avenida J in the Beira-Rio neighborhood, right as we head out for lunch. Parauapebas is known as Brazil's iron ore capital, an expanding city where extreme wealth from mining meets the raw reality of the Amazon frontier.
