Nostalgia Hurts | Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse – Episode 1

A legendary whip. A forest full of monsters. A very unforgiving trip down memory lane. Welcome to Castlevania Saturdays! We’re opening our Castlevania Anniversary Collection adventures with Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse, following Trevor Belmont into the fight against Dracula’s forces. In Episode 1, we make our way through crumbling ruins before taking the forest route, where owls, skeletons, precarious jumps, and one particularly unfriendly Cyclops are waiting. The scenery is Gothic, the monsters are persistent, and getting to Dracula is clearly going to take some work. Join me, Colwyn the Conqueror, for classic Castlevania action and a nostalgic gaming hangout—with plenty of opportunities to reconsider that next jump.
