F-250 Door Hard to Open or Creaking? Rear Door Check Replacement

My 2025 Ford F-250 Super Duty developed an issue with the rear doors becoming noticeably harder to open and close, especially as the door moved through the different stopping/check points. I was also hearing some slight creaking, which led me to suspect the rear door check was the problem. In this video, I show how to remove the rear driver or passenger-side door panel to access the door check, remove the faulty part, and replace it with a new Ford OEM rear door check (ML3Z-1627204-A). Sure enough, the door check was the problem. After installing the new OEM replacement, the door is back to opening and closing smoothly with no more binding or creaking! If your Ford F-150 or Super Duty rear door is hard to open or close, binding at the check points, or making creaking noises, the door check may be worth taking a look at.
