Livigno is a ski resort in the Italian Alps, near the Swiss border. It's known for its snow parks, with slopes and trails. In town, the Mus! Livigno and Trepalle Museum displays farming tools and other items tracing the area’s past. The Latteria di Livigno is a working dairy farm with a museum and diorama of local fauna. Livigno is a base for Stelvio National Park, home to ermine, eagles and ibex Climate Livigno has a very cold, wet subalpine climate Most of winter is spent below freezing and snow is abundant. Summer is the only part of the year in which temperatures above 10 °C (50 °F) are common, and frosts are less common (but still occur every year). Temperatures over 20 °C (68 °F) are rare.
