Zanjeerain was a test for our patience. → The drama should have ended the moment Bia walks back, opens the windows of her café, and Sarbuland stands there. That was the ending. Everything after that was unnecessary and damaging. → She is still going to live with the person whose brother killed her husband. She forgives Torsam. He is whitewashed. That is genuinely dangerous messaging. 🚨 Torsam's Whitewashing — The Biggest Problem → Torsam killed Mudassir. He celebrated when Sher Dil died. He stalked and harassed Rabia. He is responsible for her entire family having to flee. → And the drama ends with him confessing, getting what appears to be some sort of forgiveness, and the family going to the police station to sort it out. → Sheeba: Are you kidding me? He just confessed to murder. You cannot whitewash that. This is not how justice works. → The drama packaged Torsam's repentance as redemption — and it is not. Repentance in your heart and legal accountability are two completely different things. 🎭 The Wrong Lead — A Pattern Problem → Sheeba's position: Daniyal Zafar was the wrong lead for Zanjeerain. He is not in a position to carry a drama of this scale. Every actor who worked on this drama has said so — in different ways, in different interviews. → The entire drama rested on Sajjal Ali's shoulders — and she carried it brilliantly. If there was any emotional depth in Zanjeerain, it was because of her. → Hira's more nuanced take: Daniyal Zafar was not given a fair chance. He has scenes — including some in these final episodes — where his acting is genuinely beautiful. The problem is that he was not written or directed properly. He was not given character development. Somewhere, Daniyal Zafar has real potential. → The Sarbuland and Zarmala flirting scene in the final episode: both Sheeba and Hira were confused and frustrated. The man is married. His friend just died. Why is this here? → Hira: I was laughing and angry at the same time. Please give us proper romantic dramas — not grief-adjacent flirting that makes no sense in context. 🌟 Who Saved Zanjeerain → Sajjal Ali: outstanding from beginning to end. If there was depth, it was her. → Reza Ali Abid: extraordinary with barely any dialogue. His expressions carried entire scenes. The handkerchief moment — perfect.
