América - Carlos Cobián y su Orquesta (Hot Dance side)

Juan Carlos Cobián was a band leader who was known primarily for his interpretations of the tango. While he was in New York for a recording session, he recorded one non tango side, a snappy tune titled "América." Since pop music was not part of Cobián's regular musical menu, it is possible that the band was augmented with a few studio musicians to give it a fuller and perhaps slicker dance band feel.
