Embarkation Day | Disney Dream | 7-night Cruise of the Mediterranean | Barcelona | July 2026

Hi Mom, we’re still in Barcelona, and before we board the ship, we walk along La Rambla and make our way through the back entrance to Mercat de la Boqueria. Going the back way is definitely not my idea — I once again put all my faith in Google Maps, and apparently, they think this is the best route. We head back to the hotel to check out and take a taxi to the cruise terminal to board the Disney Dream, officially starting our Mediterranean adventure. Once on board we stop for lunch at Animator’s Palate, explore our room, and settle in before heading to our first activity, where we receive a free charm. I get a blowout, and then we get lost — scratch that, we explore the ship — before ending the night with dinner at Remi’s and some fun photos with Minnie and Goofy.
