First Solo Cross Country - radio malfunction!

Over to Kemble and back. My radio was fine at Over (at both ends), but huge amounts of feedback at Kemble; the FISO couldn't understand me at all, which I found unsettling, not knowing the airfield, not knowing the circuit, and not knowing whether I was doing the right thing. Anyway, it worked out fine, and the tower folks were lovely, then I went and had tea and cake and a nice chat with a dog called Rosie and flew home.
