मेरे सपनों का भारत: बेख़ौफ़ आज़ादी in Hindi language is part of the Reimagining India Video Lecture Series. Bhasha Singh is a Journalist & Writer. Bhasha Singh discusses that her ideal India will be secular, have a police system that caters to the safety and security of society, strengthen the constitution to ensure equality and dignity of life, and media as the fourth pillar, keeping the people of power in check. Ms. Singh reimagines India as a nation that prides itself on diversity, humanity, and freedom to be fearlessly opinionated. She also discusses how her ideal India will be a true-hearted participatory democracy fostering and nurturing debates, arguments, and public accountability of democratic institutions. Simultaneously, the government elected ‘’by the people’’, and ‘’of the people’’ will work ‘’for the people’’ that account for the needs and well-being of the masses on public issues of healthcare, education, equality, employment, etc. ‘Reimagining India’ hopes to start a conversation to explore the contours of a society that is more just, equal and aligned to the Constitutional values of liberty and fraternity. Over the next two months, beginning from Oct 2, 2021 , 50 lectures on relevant themes by leading public intellectuals and political leaders will provide an alternate vision for the country.
