Bobby Erickson & Blackwing's new album 'Pure Americana' is out now on Whatsoever Records.    / bobby erickson - topic   'Two Hundred and Fifty Years' is the band's ode to America on her 250th birthday. Two hundred and fifty years of chasing a dream Of building things up from worn-out seams Two hundred and fifty years of good and bad times Two hundred and fifty years of work and sacrifice And every one of those years Every one of those years Every one of those years That's fine Two hundred and fifty years of making mistakes Of building things up to watch them break One hundred and twenty-five on the frontier line One hundred and twenty-five behind And every one of those years Every one of those years Every one of those years That's fine Three thousand months of never-ending trial A hundred fifty thousand weeks of runnin’ the miles And each and every single day was a blessing from above Two hundred and fifty years of love Two hundred and fifty years Two hundred and fifty years Two hundred and fifty years Two hundred and fifty years
