Behind the moniker is Danish musician Stine Hjelm. Working primarily with samples, Hjelm draws from genres such as IDM, industrial and alternative pop to create an intricate, atmospheric world that encompasses complexity and dissonance as well as grand emotional moments. With ‘Love Song’ she presents a lovelorn cut of r’n’b-tinged electronica, haunted by warped vocals and glitchy atmospherics. The single follows STEINS’ debut single ‘LIMBO’ released in May.
