This is Kaniakapūpū, the summer home of Kauikeaouli, Kamehameha III, and his wife Kalama. Kumu Hōkūlani Holt Padilla took Kalani on a field trip there one summer in Nā Pua Noʻeau, and he calls upon those memories with his co-composer Kalehua Simeona in this mele.
