Some weddings are a series of events.
Some become a series of stories.
Archit & Raksha’s wedding became both — with a generous dose of colour, chaos, mountains, music and a story that was already interesting long before the celebrations began.
This film takes a documentary approach to their wedding, allowing the story to unfold through the voices, conversations and perspectives of the people who lived it. Rather than simply moving from Mehendi to Haldi to Sangeet to Varmala, the film is shaped by the narrative set by Archit, Raksha and their families — their memories, their emotions, their observations and the little details that make this wedding uniquely theirs.
Throughout the film, real dialogues and conversations have been picked and woven into the edit, creating a narrative that carries us from one celebration to the next. The result is less a collection of wedding events and more a story about the people behind them.
And this story had quite the beginning.
The wedding was delayed twice.
First, because of Operation Sindoor.
And then, because of the now infamous IndiGo fiasco.
Two delays. One wedding date that kept moving. A whole lot of uncertainty. And eventually, a wedding that happened exactly where it was meant to — in the hills, surrounded by the people who mattered most.
If you haven't watched the trailer yet, start there. It sets up the story behind this rather extraordinary wedding journey and gives you a glimpse of what Archit & Raksha — and their families — went through before they finally got to celebrate.

And then, the celebrations finally began.
The Mehendi was their easy, intimate welcome to the wedding in the hills — full of laughter, conversations and the kind of candid moments that make a destination wedding feel like a reunion.
The Sangeet turned the volume all the way up. Dressed to the tee, Archit & Raksha brought their own Bollywood energy to a night of performances, music, dancing and a young crowd that understood the assignment.
The Haldi had considerably less restraint. What began as a traditional Indian ceremony quickly became a mini Holi, with Haldi, colour, flowers and a room full of people who clearly had no plans of letting the couple remain clean.
And then came the sundowner Varmala — pastel, romantic and straight out of a wedding fairytale. Raksha's bridal walk. Archit's reaction. The hills in the background. The flowers, the smiles and that fleeting moment when everything else seemed to disappear.
Because ultimately, this isn't just a film about a Mehendi, Haldi, Sangeet and Varmala.
It is about the journey between them.
It is about a wedding that was postponed twice, a family that kept believing it would happen, a couple who finally got their moment, and all the people whose voices and memories became part of the story.
A documentary wedding film. A destination wedding in the hills. And a rather unbelievable journey to get there.
So watch it for the colours.
Watch it for the music.
Watch it for the mountains.
But most importantly, watch it for the story.
Because Archit & Raksha's wedding wasn't just celebrated.
It was lived. And then, turned into a film.
