Shot on an iphone and drone later on, i did not realize this little gem of a place existed, fabulous fro a holiday with so many attractions and areas to see. The village was built in the 1860s and named after Charles Kingsley's 1855 bestselling novel Westward Ho! to capitalize on incoming tourism, Features over two miles of golden sand backed by a natural pebble ridge and the Northam Burrows Country Park. A popular destination for surfing, kite-kitesurfing, and coastal walking along the South West Coast Path.Home to the Royal North Devon Golf Club, the oldest golf course in England and Wales (founded in 1864)
