California Mango Grafting HEATED Debate

‪@FruitfulTrees‬ for years debated mango spacing in Florida. Here in California, we have a very different problem: slow growth of mangos because grafted trees use up 2 of their 3 to 5 flushes each year on flowers, instead of vegetative growth. After studying my 7 years of growing mangos with nothing to show for it, and getting tips from several friends, including getting a yard tour from ‪@RichsMangoGarden‬ and seeing his success, I came up with a strategy. Many seem to disagree with this method but in this video, I showcase my findings and theory of this unique growing strategy to HOPEFULLY get full sized mango trees quickly with grafted cultivars that do well in our area. I am all in on this strategy and does have its pros and cons and I will provide updates and show data on my findings. Hope you find it interesting, informative, and even, gets you heated :)
