I Spent 3 Years Searching for This Rare Titanic Lifeboat Model

Some model kits are difficult to find. Others seem almost impossible. For three years, I searched for this incredibly rare wooden Titanic lifeboat kit. Originally released for a fraction of what it costs today, I eventually managed to track one down — but it cost me nearly $500! In this video, I take you through the complete building journey, transforming this rare kit into a detailed replica of one of the most recognisable lifeboats in maritime history. From assembling the wooden hull to adding the intricate fittings, oars and finishing touches, every stage brings this remarkable little model to life. The finished lifeboat sits on a particularly special display base, made using genuine oak recovered during the restoration of HMS Victory — bringing together two extraordinary pieces of maritime history.
