Ploaie înghețată în grădina mea (2) / Frozen rain in my garden (2)

Anul 2026 a debutat cu o ploaie înghețată care mi-a transformat toți arborii din grădină în obiecte casabile, pentru că toate ramurile au devenit rigide ca peștii congelați, atât la coniferi cât și la foioși. Orice adiere îi făcea să pârîie și atingându-se între ei, scoteau clinchete de sticlă. Cum platoul de deal unde locuiesc este o zonă foarte dragă vânturilor și vijeliilor, am fost stresat toată ziua și toată noaptea, să nu urmeze un vânt puternic, care ar fi putut avea urmări dezastruoase pentru arborii mei. Dar slavă Domnului, vântul a fost moderat și nu s-a rupt nimic din grădină. A doua zi, o parte din gheața de pe arbori s-a mai dus, sub acțiunea vântului, care a facilitat evaporarea. Iar a treia zi a ieșit soarele, care a mai topit și el mare parte din gheața rămasă pe arbori, deși temperaturile nu erau pozitive. Any breeze made them creak, and when they touched each other, they made a clinking sound like glass. As the hilltop where I live is an area very prone to winds and storms, I was stressed all day and all night, hoping that a strong wind would not follow, which could have had disastrous consequences for my trees. But thank God, the wind was moderate and nothing in the garden was broken. The next day, some of the ice on the trees melted away under the action of the wind, which facilitated evaporation. And on the third day, the sun came out, which also melted most of the ice remaining on the trees, even though the temperatures were not above zero.
