What If Deku Becomes Cynical Hero | Part 1 Summary: “You know if you want to be a hero so bad, there is an easy way to do that.” Bakugou mocked his childhood friend turned victim, Izuku listened with hope, maybe Kacchan had some way. “Take a swan dive off the roof and hope for a quirk in your next life.” Something broke inside Izuku as his friend bully walked off laughing, thinking he made a really cool joke. A tiny spark of anger showed itself inside Izuku; it wasn’t anything bigger than a spark, honestly, and in some story, Izuku would have let it out and let it die off of fear. This isn’t that story.
