The Batman With The Most Wasted Potential

I have strongly conflicting feelings about Batman: Caped Crusader. There are several elements that I love, but the overall execution leaves me disappointed. The people making the show seem afraid to make the most of any of the ideas presented in the series. At the same time, there are so many aspects to appreciate. Batman: Caped Crusader is good but not great, and that's the detail which annoys me the most. Nothing about this version is the best in any conceivable way. That's the shameful part. This beautiful piece of art could be a perfect period piece and character study with only a few alterations.
