What are the differences between nose tip plasty surgery and full rhinoplasty surgery? There are so many patients who wants to change the shape of their tip only without changing the nasal bridge. They have only a bulbous tip and/or wide nasal base and nostrils. Tip plasty addresses only the tip area and doesn’t require any bone fractures and cartilage removal on the bridge. So there is no bruising or swelling after the surgery. It can be done under local anaesthesia or sedation if patients are scared from full anaesthesia. Recovery time is 3-5 days and no internal dressing is required.
