Witchfire - TORMENT IV LEVEL 1 SUCCESS | My Most Difficult Challenge (65 Attempts) | Irongate Castle

After more than *65 attempts**, I finally conquered **Torment IV at Level 1 (Gnosis 7)* in **Irongate Castle**. This was by far the challenge that gave me the most trouble in my entire Level 1 journey. I had already completed Torments I, II, III, V, VI, VII, and VIII at Level 1, but Torment IV kept defeating me over and over again. Some of those runs were excellent, with strong builds and good execution, yet I still failed every time. Today I finally understood and successfully reproduced the strategy originally demonstrated by **Nina Malkova**. The build matters. The Arcana matter. Enemy spawns matter. Ironically, in this successful run: • I did NOT get the Arcana I wanted. • The enemy composition was not ideal. • I did NOT play particularly well. And yet I succeeded on the very first attempt after applying this strategy. The key is forcing the exit portal to spawn in a specific location by repeatedly restarting Torment IV. There appear to be multiple possible portal locations (at least 12 from my observations). When the portal appears in the correct position, the endless enemies spawning from it become trapped behind the closing gate. Since these infinite attackers are unique to Torment IV, removing them dramatically changes the difficulty of the encounter. Whether this is an intended mechanic or an exploit is up for debate. Personally, I believe the constant stream of enemies from the exit portal is itself a design issue specific to Torment IV, and this strategy simply neutralizes it. *Run Highlights:* ✅ Torment IV completed at Level 1 ✅ Gnosis 7 ✅ Latent Orb obtained ✅ Boss defeated with almost no damage taken ✅ First attempt using the portal strategy --- 🎯 *FINAL PROGRESS* ✅ TORMENT I - Complete ✅ TORMENT II - Complete ✅ TORMENT III - Complete ✅ TORMENT IV - Complete ✅ TORMENT V - Complete ✅ TORMENT VI - Complete ✅ TORMENT VII - Complete ✅ TORMENT VIII - Complete All Torments completed at Level 1.
