Cello Suite: Reflections, Dances & Fantasias by Liz Dilnot Johnson (Complete version)

Heather Tuach plays Cello Suite: Reflections, Dances & Fantasias, by Liz Dilnot Johnson, a flexible suite with 27 short movements. The performer can choose any movements to play in any order. Three strands of music are woven together: a decorated version of Hildegard of Bingen’s ‘Ave Generosa’, rustic dances inspired by the paintings and notebooks of English artist Ben Hartley, and the performer’s own improvised moments. This version presents the entire suite. Heather also made a short version of the Suite here:    • Cello Suite: Reflections, Dances & Fantasi...   The score is available at: https://composersedition.com/liz-diln...
