5/5/1979 Bruins at Canadiens Stanley Cup Semifinals Game 5 Back at Forum, will Montreal hold serve?

This video is the May 5, 1979 National Hockey League Stanley Cup Semifinals Game 5 between the Boston Bruins and the Canadiens in Montreal. It is the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation coverage, with Danny Gallivan on play by play and Dick Irvin and Gary Dornhoefer on color. Enjoy all the action, with no commercials or between-periods fluff! It's a best-of-three series now, with Montreal hosting two of the three at the Forum, but this scrappy Bruins team, one of my all-time favorites, never gives up, in front of valiant goalie Gilles Gilbert.. Boston stars such as Jean Ratelle, Brad Park, Rick Middleton, Terry O'Reilly, Stan Jonathan, Wayne Cashman, Peter McNab, Don Marcotte, Gilbert and Co., battle the vaunted Montreal roster of Guy Lafleur, Larry Robinson, Serge Savard, Bob Gainey, Jacques Lemaire, Guy Lapointe, Steve Shutt, Ken Dryden et. al. Box score, series stats in comments. Copyright CBC or any other party. I don't claim the rights to, and don't profit from, this video. I just posted it for historical and educational purposes, and for those who will enjoy it as much as I did.
