Hi everyone, here is a guide to knocking out 28mm Napoleonic Italian miniatures quickly. The uniform facings vary by regiment (this is the 5th regt.), but the white uniform and fixtures and fittings will be the same across the Italian line infantry regiments. The miniatures are Perry 28mm plastic French from the 1807-1814 set, as the Italians used French uniforms in their own colours. Paints used: Prime white Army Painter Light Tone Army Painter Quickshade Medium Coat d'Arms White Army Painter Matt Black Army Painter Barbarian Flesh Vallejo Game Extra Opaque Heavy Sienna Army Painter Pure Red Vallejo Game Color Sick Green Vallejo Model Color Light Brown Vallejo Model Color Light Grey Vallejo Game Color Elfic Flesh Vallejo Model Color Brass Army Painter Platemail Metal Army Painter Strong Tone Army Painter Anti-Shine Matt Varnish Tufts are from www.warpainter.net 40mm square MDF base from www.warbases.co.uk Base material is Vallejo Earth Texture Dark Earth, drybrush Vallejo Game Color Elfic Flesh I found easily digestible uniform info here: http://napitalia.org.uk/eng/histind.s...
