Today we went apartment hunting in Boracay, Philippines… and it definitely wasn’t what we expected. 😂 Living on a tropical island sounds perfect: white sand, turquoise water, palm trees and paradise right outside your door. But finding a place to actually LIVE in Boracay is a completely different experience. We checked out an apartment that looked beautiful, but it reminded us of something important about living in the Philippines: don’t rush into anything. Pictures and first impressions don’t always tell the whole story. Check the location, internet, water, neighborhood, noise, condition of the apartment and everything else that matters before handing over your money. The good news? Apartment hunting in Boracay is actually pretty fun when you turn it into an adventure. The more places you see, the better you understand what your money can get you — and we’re definitely going to KEEP LOOKING.
