Although the weather was gloomy, wet, and unpredictable, the locals here were all very friendly and welcoming. Thank you to the Ahjumma who let us stay in her shop during the rainstorm and walked us across the street with her umbrella. Thank you to the staff at 918 Park Café, who kindly gave us a ride down the mountain and back into the city when we couldn’t call a taxi. Thank you to Joey and his mother at Goyo, who greeted us with kind smiles and treated us with such warm hospitality. Thank you to the sisters of Namoo Arae, with whom we shared wonderful conversations and many laughs in their cozy shop. Thank you to the taxi and Uber drivers who carried our adventurous hearts and tired bodies around the island. Thank you, Jeju-do, for all the fun memories. We hope to meet again one day.
