Freya - Ravn over landet (Official Live Performance) World Tour #9

Freya comes home. 🖤🪶 For this performance, Freya returned to the place where it all began: her own hometown, under the northern lights, beside the fjord she grew up with. And for the first time on stage, she sings in her own language, Norwegian. "Ravn over landet" (Raven Over the Land) is a song about the raven that watches over the North: over mountains, forests and dark seas, guarding the names of those who came before us and guiding its people home. Tonight, thousands of people from her own city sang it with her. Under a giant raven, with fire, snow and the aurora above the mountains, this is Freya as you've never heard her before: raw, emotional, and completely home. 🎧 Put your headphones on, turn the volume up, and come home with us. ──────────── 🪶 LYRICS — Ravn over landet [Verse 1] Ravn flyr over fjellet svart mot himmel blå Vinden bærer vingene dit ingen andre går Over stein og gammel jord over skog og hav Du ser alt fra høyden du vokter våre navn [Pre-Chorus] Når natten faller stille og bålet brenner svakt hører jeg dine vinger i vinden over land [Chorus] Ravn over landet flyr høyt, flyr fritt Ravn over landet du viser oss dit Over fjell og mørke hav over jord vi kjenner Ravn over landet du fører oss hjem [Verse 2] Spor i våt jord røyk fra gamle bål skipene ligger klare med jern mot tre og stål Månen står over fjorden skogen holder vakt Du flyr foran skipet gjennom mørket natt [Bridge] Ser du lyset bak fjellets rand? Barn av nord barn av jord vi følger vingene som førte oss hit [Final Chorus] Ravn over landet flyr høyt, flyr fritt Ravn over landet du viser oss dit Over fjell og mørke hav over jord vi kjenner Ravn over landet du fører oss hjem Ravn over landet svart mot himmel blå Ravn over landet vi følger deg nå ──────────── 🌍 ENGLISH TRANSLATION (Chorus) Raven over the land flying high, flying free Raven over the land you show us the way Over mountains and dark seas over the earth we know Raven over the land you lead us home ──────────── 🔔 Subscribe to Odin's Echo for more Viking-blooded music, and turn on notifications so you never miss a new song from Freya. 💬 Where is home for you?
