Jedediah Smith Redwoods with Dogs | Howland Hill Road + a hidden gem

Come along with me and my three dogs as we explore Jedediah Smith Redwood National and State Park in Northern California-including the famous Howland Hill Road, one of the most scenic drives you can take through the Redwoods. It's a narrow winding, unpaved road taking you right through old growth redwoods. But, as usual, not everything on my adventure went quite according to plan! I'll show you what went well, what didn't, and my honest take on my trip. There was also one big problem with visiting the redwoods with my three dogs: dogs are not allowed on most of the hiking trails. That's when I discovered something I wasn't expecting.... A beautiful place where I could walk my dogs among the redwoods and even get down to the Smith River for a swim. I found a dog friendly redwood area!
