Otis Traction Service Elevator @ Tower at Main and Gervais, Downtown Columbia, SC

Filmed on 8/6/22 It took me a little bit to figure out this was the tallest Series 5. I first realized it by remembering the floor to floor distance in office buildings were farther and this was 18 floors, so I knew this had to pass the previous tallest. Also I can’t believe the service car is locked just like the passenger cars This is an Elevonic 411 with Series 5. I think there are only a few of those around the country, but still that’s surprising.
