You can see Uhud in the distance almost every day, and then you can go from being there to sitting in the Prophet’s Mosque for iftar a short while later. In this vlog, I wanted to simply document what that feels like. We head up Uhud in the GMC, spend some time overlooking Madinah, recite some Qur’an. The Masjid is more than somewhere people come to pray. For so many people in Madinah, it is at the heart of daily life, a place to pray, break the fast, meet people, serve others and spend time with the Qur’an.
