Last Caltrain F40 Diesel + Gallery Ride Ever | 40 Year Old Trains Retirement

On 9-20-2024 I rode the last Caltrain diesel train on the peninsula ever. These trains, the gallery car and F40's are being sent to retirement. After 9-20 the gallery sets were sent to retirement, but diesels service continued in Gilroy with the MP36PH's and Bombardiers. I stared the day at San Jose on train 711, to catch what we thought was the last diesel train on 132, the night would take a turn though, as when 132 arrived in Taminen a mechanical issue would cause the last diesel train to actually be 146, the last train of the night, which I caught at 2am in Santa Clara.
